Fed-up Batman fan hopes to treat thousands of strangers to the movies in Colorado

Colorado software executive Jason Cole wants to prove there are more good people out there than evil ones — and he’ll be making his point at Denver-area movie theaters on August 11.

Sometimes charity doesn’t need to be about curing a life-threatening disease, feeding the hungry or helping people with disadvantaged backgrounds improve their quality of life.

Responding to the recent Batman movie massacre, Jason Cole’s goals are a lot more simple — and perhaps even more achievable since the threshold for success isn’t in the sky.
